I thought I would kick off the discussion with a topic we talked a little bit about in lodge. Benjamin Franklin was a very smart man and was also a freemason. One thing that I don't understand is why didn't he subdue his passions? Based on history he was a big fan of prostitution and really seemed to be a womanizer. I can't argue that he was a great contributor to society, but did some of the things that he did go against the fraternities morals?
